Banister And Handrail Going Into Basement
Leo is awesome. Extremely professional, keeps a super clean job site, and perhaps most importantly....he was extremely kind to my 3 year old son who was home sick during the installation. We reached out to numerous contractors on HomeStars to get a quote....and Leo was the only one who was willing to come to our house and do a proper quote. There were so many other contractors that refused to send someone to the job site unless we agreed to a price based on digital photos that we had to send! Railing Replacement 45 Year Old House
Leo replaced our railings and updated to new standards. Three railings in all.
We are likely going to replace the kitchen floor and Leo accommodated this by laying the post and spindles 2 inches lower. See before/after pictures for this railing..
Leo is very precise in his workmanship. He consulted us all the w.ay along as he made necessary adjustments.
He cleaned up everything as he went. Started the job on a wet snowy day. He put down protection on the floors. No mess.

Stair Railing
We hired Leo to build a new stair railing with metal pickets and a banister. We were very impressed by his professionalism and his craftsmanship. He is very knowledgeable and will take the time to make sure that you are happy with your decision and choices. After almost a year with no stair railing, we couldn't be happier with his work. We definitely recommend him if you need a railing replaced.

Refinishing Stairs
Leo did work on our two staircases, installing banisters and replacing carpet stairs with oak. It is clear he takes pride in his work, and he is very organized, good to work with, and reliable. He came to consult with us with an iPad full of pictures of previous work and was able to design around some peculiarities of our needs.
I would recommend his work to anyone who wants a good job done on their stairs.

New Hardwood Stair Treads, Railing And Pickets
Leo knocked it out of the park for us. We had a very tight timeline where we needed the work done and he met the timeline without issue. Shows up exactly when he is supposed to, always leaves the site clean and takes pride in his work (I wish more contractors did). Communication is excellent.
He capped and redid the nosings for our staircase in Oak and it looks fabulous (as you can see in the pictures). He also replaced all of our aging wood spindles with much more modern iron wrought ones.
Leo is an artist, don't hesitate to get him working on your projects.
